Emilienne Apple, singer, musician (Apple, Midi-Minuit) and Alexis Campet, musician, producer (Volo, 
Lisa Portelli, Ladylike Dragons, Oldelaf, 27, Eskelina) meet in 2010 for the recording of Emilienne's first album "When our place was infinite". A few years later they meet to create Inwoods, an ethereal folk and dream pop duo.
WATCH FOR THE ESCAPE
After a first album "No Everest" (self-produced, 2019) the duo is ready to release their second album "Watch for the escape".
13 titles, in English, evoking time, love, the evolution of oneself and the world, children's dreams, hopes.
The band extends its folk sensitivity to new colors, where the acoustic guitar is gradually giving way to analog synths or reverberated pianos.
Bass, drums and aerial guitars are expressed in a vintage look, on which sometimes a cello, or an accordion are invited.
The album is recorded and largely mixed, un-mastered.

On stage, the band has created a duo set (guitar, ukulele, synths, sequences).
A four members band was also created, with Clément Simounet on guitar (Ben Mazué, Luciole, Lisa Portelli) and Renaud de Lacvivier on keyboards (Divine, Corte M).
NEXT
Encouraged by very good feedback on their first album, whose production and release were done in complete autonomy, Inwoods wishes to reach a wider and more targeted audience, with better promotion, concerts and more clips.
As the band has just finished recording the album, they are now looking for collaborations to help them around the release.
